This Blog records to some detail -- from start to finish -- the building of a PBK18 kayak during the month of August in 2010. It is based on a set of plans purchased in the late 60s; is simple to build from wood, glue, screws and canvas, but does require some carpentry skills. Framed Boatbuilder
In this picture Schuyler is wearing the frames which are now dry and with stiffeners attached ready for assembly to the keel. In his hands he is holding the cut out stem and stern posts.
