I had started cutting the frames in Ottawa while on a summer work term. It was all done in a small backyard of a rooming house where I lived with a couple of draft dodgers up from the States.
At the end of the work term I finished the kayak in Vaudreuil Quebec, back home with my parents. This is where these photos are taken. We then lived on Le Petite Cote, or Route 17 right next to the Hilltop Motel.
